EliteStart
Kinetico’s elite system controller, the EliteStart, allows for up to three different independent controls to be used. Three separate start signals are user programmable to give complete flexibility in system design. With each independent start controller, multiple tanks can be added by the using the Add-A-Valve feature of the valve. Control.

Hydrus QuickStart
Kinetico’s base system controller, the QS1, allows for one control type to be used. Multiple tanks and multiple system types can be configured by the using the Add-A-Valve feature of the valve. In every case, the control box sends the start signal to the first valve, and after its cycle is complete, the completed valve signals the next valve’s cycle. This is continued for every valve installed. Three control inputs are available: Time A 7-day timer allows for the adjustment of regeneration/backwash cycles once per day, any combination of days through a 7-day period. Operator sets the current time of day, the regeneration time of day and the current day. Operator also selected through individual switches, each day

(Pressure) A differential pressure switch can be added to the control system. The operator can set the time delay for the pressure switch to activate a backwash. When added to the control circuit, this signal will override both time and volume, starting a backwash for all tanks with this signal.
(Volume) An existing external reset flow meter can be configured with the QS1.
When the external meter reaches its reset mark and sends the electrical closed contact, the QS can use this signal to begin a regeneration / backwash. Once again, any signal sent for a volumetric control will start a cycle for all valves in sequence.
