Air quality can be measured using a test instrument called a laser particle counter.

This test instrument is used in hospitals and manufacturing facilities and can accurately count the number of particles of pollutants present in one cubic foot of air.

STAGE 1 is a physical filter that removes larger particles from the air and extends the life of the HEPA filter.

STAGE 2 is a carbon filter for reducing household odors.

STAGE 3 is a true HEPA filter which is capable of removing 99.97% of particles that are .3 micron or larger in size.
